[NEWS] 110111 JYJ Junsu's Star Power Shown Through "Tears of Heaven" Ticket Sales

JYJ’s Junsu (who recently began preparations for his second musical, “Tears of Heaven“) has demonstrated his influence on ticket sales once more.

The production company of the musical, Seol Company, revealed, “Tickets for ‘Tears of Heaven’ were available for the second time, and within 3 minutes and 30 seconds, all 13,000 seats were sold out. This is a new record compared to the first, in which all 15,000 seats were sold out in the first five minutes.”

Seol Company expressed that they believed the popularity of “Tears of Heaven” was possible because of Junsu’s fans. The musical previously made headlines, as fans auctioned off tickets for up to $1,300 USD; the singer was also chosen as the #1 male actor for the “2010 Golden Ticket Power” poll on InterparkINT.

“Tears of Heaven” will begin playing on February 1st.

YoungWoong Jaejoong has currently been offered a role in the 20-episode drama 'Poseidon' (proposed name) which will air next year and it is said that he has reacted positively to the offer which will be finalized in September.

YoungWoong Jaejoong, who debuted as a drama actor in the Japanese drama 'Sunaoni Narenakute' earlier this year, will be the first member of TVXQ to debut in a Korean blockbuster drama.

The drama 'Poseidon' will be the first drama to take maritime police as the main theme. A representative of H20 Production stated, "We are filming this drama with full support from the Korean maritime police. The story will revolve around the special forces team that saves lives within the maritime police forces. With strong philanthropy as the background, it will capture readers with the story of one man who learns of the value of life through challenges and sacrifice."

The movie will be co-directed by PD Yu Cheol Yong of drama 'All In' and PD Oh Sang Won of 'Sad Love Song'. The screenwriter is Jo Gyu Won, who co-wrote the screenplay for 'Iris'.

Last August U-Know Yunho was selected as cover model in second issue of ‘men’s uno’ published in Hong Kong, along with it, there was also the latest interview about charm appeal of U-Know Yunho including some photoshoot pictures. Regarding this issue, the Asian fans’ reaction was high.

‘men’s uno’ is Asia’s leading men magazine having wide issue area such as Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia. [News] 100407 Yoochun to star in korean drama SungKyunKwan Scandal

As you already know Yoochun is heading to an acting career in Japan.. but not only.

Indeed, TVXQ dandy boy will soon star in a korean drama inspired by a best-selling book “성균관 유생들의 나날”.

The historical drama (sageuk) title is shorten to “SungKyunKwan Scandal” (성균관 스캔들) and Yoochun will have one of the 4 leading roles, he will play Lee SunJoon, a boys who has everything to succeed in life. The story takes place in an university that accepts only boys, until a girl decides to dress as a boy and pretends to be her own brother so she can go to that school.

With a strong ambition, Yoochun told the press: “I had fun reading the synopsis. I want to meet Sun Joon very soon. I’m honored to play such an interesting character in my first project. I will work hard to greet the viewers with a good project and as a good character.”

A lot of fans directly asked the vice president about this ‘Lovin You’ drama, and he shared a picture that was only captured the drama script cover, as he said, “‘Lovin You’ is only a temporary title. There may be some changes from what we have now.”

Fuji TV’s mobile channel BEE TV ‘Lovin You’ is a love story between a Korean tycoon man and a conservative Japanese woman, Omasa Aya (20) is slated to act as the heroine. With her recent dramas ‘Hana Yori Dango 2′, ‘Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge’, and ‘Mei-chan no Shitsuji’ Omasa Aya has appeared as a popular young star.
