On May 11th, stars performed at the congratulatory music concert for KBS’s “INPUT 2011 Seoul“.

The conference is a four-day long event that brings together representatives from around the world for discussions ranging from public television and the 21st century, to 3D-TV and the future of broadcast television.

The concert was broadcasted live on the same day, and boasted a line-up of Insooni, TVXQ, SNSD, 4minute, CNBLUE, Kim Tae Woo, Lim Tae Kyung, Song Sohee and many others.

European contemporary luxury brand MCM held their Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show at the Seoul Lotte Hotel on March 31st at 7pm.

The inspiration for this season's MCM designs came from the perfume Munich Nostalgia - blending both the elements of the European cultural bloom in the 60's and 70's with the contemporary MCM brand's DNA - allowing the nostalgic perfume to blend with touch of chicness. Staff members indicate, "The digital era brings a stimulus to fashion - an overlap of the old and new. This is the major trend of 2011 Spring/Summer."

On the day of the fashion show, stars such as TVXQ, SNSD, MBLAQ, and Yoo In Young were seen.

[TRANS] 110408 TVXQ Signs On Bowling Pins Now?

 

Recently, bowling pins that have TVXQ's signatures on them have become a topic of discussion.

On the 8th, a netizen on DAUM telzone by the name of mecca*** wrote, "In the bowling centre, I took a picture of bowling pins with TVXQ's signatures" and uploaded three pictures. 

In the picture, there were bowling pins with U-know Yunho and Choikang Changmin's signatures. Also, other than TVXQ's signatures, there were also Super Junior's Kim Kibum's and SHINee's Minho's signed bowling pins.

The uploaded photos of the signed bowling pins were taken by the netizen at a bowling centre in HwaYangDong. Other netizens responded with comments like "when can I get this?~" and "TVXQ is enjoying a healthy lifestyle".

On February 20th, KBS Cool FM’s “Ock Ju Hyun’s Music Plaza” uploaded photos of TVXQ from when they guested on the program. A caption was attached, which read: ”Two men shaking up Asia.”

The post went on to state, “The two men who exude such charisma on stage have turned into playful pranksters in the Music Plaza studio.” Through her Twitter on the 21st, Ock Ju Hyun continued, “It’s live broadcast radio now. These are pictures from when TVXQ guested last week… Today is KCM & Kang Eun Bi. Let’s go~”

[TRANS] 110201 TVXQ And Girls' Generation Will 'Spend Lunar New Year's Day With Family'

TVXQ and Girls' Generation will both spend the Lunar New Year break with their families.

Both groups performed at the SM Town in Tokyo concerts on the 25th and 26th and appeared on Asahi TV's 'Music Station' on the 28th.

TVXQ and Girls' Generation returned to Korea after such activities and are planning to spend the Lunar New Year holiday with family. A SM Entertainment representative stated in a phone conversation with Newsen that, "All members of Girls' Generation will spend the Lunar New Year break with their families," and "TVXQ will spend some quality time with their families on the day of the Lunar New Year and will then perform at the weekend music programs."

While Girls' Generation is focusing solely on their Japanese activities, TVXQ is busy flying between Korea and Japan to perform in both countries. TVXQ's single album 'Why? (Keep Your Head Down' was able to sell 231,000 copies in its first week of sales.

The group TVXQ has won first place on "Music Bank" for 3 consecutive weeks.

On the live broadcast on KBS2 "Music Bank" on the 28th, TVXQ won first place for the third week in a row with their title song "Why (Keep Your Head Down)". 

On this day, as TVXQ had to perform at TV Asahi's representative music programme "Music Station", they were unable to claim their award in person. 

With this week's award and including those on the 14th and 21st, this is their third win on "Music Bank". Also, TVXQ won first place on MCountdown on the 20th and two consecutive wins on SBS Inkigayo on 16th and 23rd respectively. Held over two days on 25 and 26 January, the live concerts took place at the Tokyo National Yoyogi First Gymnasium and they were overflowing with wild enthusiasm from 24,000 guests, coming to a close as a big success.

Yunho: "Personally, I like the style of a strong sense of rhythm. That way, rap also becomes a main point. With the repetition of melodies in the lyrics 'Why, why, why', it contains elements of rock, which I think is unique."

Changmin: "It is a song that fits Tohoshinki's style, especially with the powerful beats. Anyone who's heard it will understand that the tone and performance blend together to give an intoxicating impression on people."

'Why' was chosen as the main theme song for upcoming Fuji TV drama ‘Beautiful Neighbour’. If the two members were given the choice to appear in a Japanese television drama, what type of content and character would you try out?

Yunho: "Up until now, everyone has always seen my relatively strong masculinity, so I want try being a romantic character in a drama with a theme of love."

Changmin: "There are so many types of characters I want to try. If it's a Japanese drama, because there will be difficulties in terms of language communication, it might restrict the full expressive portrayal of the character. If I had to pick one, I would bring myself into a world completely different others and be a novelist."

On January 25 and 26 'SMTOWN LIVE in TOKYO" will be held at the Tokyo Yoyogi National Gymnasium. Can you please tell us how you feel about it?

Yunho: "It's been so long since we've held activities in Japan, so we want to bring Tohoshinki's charisma to the audience, creating a boundlessly handsome stage no one will forget."

Changmin: Standing on the Japan stage after so long; I feel really nervous. It makes me proud that I'm able to perform on such a grand stage with my fellow SMTOWN family - able to stand on the stage individually. I hope all the SM artists can successfully complete the magnificent 'SMTOWN LIVE'!
