TVXQ trio JaeJoong, YooChun and Junsu's newly-formed unit 'JYJ' held a showcase at the Korea University in Seoul on the 12th of October for the release of their new album 'The Beginning'. This kick-started the three's official activities.
Their exclusive contract dispute with SM Entertainment in court led to the suspension of activities for more than a year for them. It has already been two years since TVXQ's 4th Korean album activities in 2008.
JYJ passionately sang English songs like 'Empty,' 'Be My Girl' (composed by Rodney Jerkins), 'Ayyy Girl' (composed by Kanye West) and 'Be the One' (composed by Jae Chong). Famous American producers also participated in the production and the songs were included in the album. The trio showed a variety of stage performances and a LIVE that can only be described as 'strong.' More than 6,000 fans' conveyed their joy and enthusiasm to JYJ for their comeback.
"Being able to go through the painful period, to stand in front of the fans after a long break , and to see everyone I am really very happy. Although I was worried whether or not we could release the album, I feel very blessed to be able to see everyone once again. Even if the songs are a bit unfamiliar, I still hope that everyone will be able to remember our familiar voices."

[trans] 101018 tvxq trio 「jyj」 to have a 100,000 people large-scale concert
Over the course of 2 days on 27 and 28 November, the group「JYJ」, formed by TVXQ members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu, will hold 2 live concerts for their「JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul」in the Seoul Olympic Main Stadium of the Jamsil Sports Complex. The approximate scale of the two concerts is 100,000.
What is noteworthy about this concert is that it will be under the direction of Jeri Slaughter, who has directed concerts for world famous pop artists like Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and more.
Slaughter said, "The Seoul showcase the other day is just the beginning. This concert will be the start of JYJ's global expansion, so the performances shown will blow away audiences around the world."
18 songs will be performed during this concert, including self-composed songs by the members, which will be released for the first time. In particular, a special colour laser equipment called "Phenom" will be used, a real time digital gesture recognition video technology, and a fantastic stage is expected to unfold.
Advance booking for the「JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul」begins on 19 October, from 8PM onwards, on the internet shopping site "Interpark".

[TRANS] 100917 TVXQ Trio - Sungkyunkwan Scandal OST #1, #2, #4!
The three members of TVXQ Micky Yoochun, Hero Jaejoong, and Xiah Junsu received the #1 position on an online music site - Hanteo - for their collaboration on the song 'Chajatta' on the Real Time Charts.
The OST for KBS2TV drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" that was released on the 16th swiftly made it to the top of the charts.
On the afternoon of the 16th, the Cyworld BGM Real Time Charts showed the TVXQ trio's song "Chajatta", Xiah Junsu's 'Too Love', Hero Jaejoong's 'Your Departure, My Wait', respectively earning the #1, #2, and #4 spots.
"Sungkyunkwan Scandal" OST 'Chajatta' is a soothingly harmonic song performed by Micky Yoochun, Hero Jaejoong, and Xiah Junsu, which has been garnering attention ever since it was played as background music for the preview of the second episode, so fans have been excitedly anticipating for it's release.
But they weren't satisfied with only a few moments of it being played in the background of the drama, so an explosive response from the fans erupted as soon as the song was released on the Hanteo.
On an online music site, monkey3 said, "Before it's release on Hanteo, there were a lot of opinions on "Sungkyunkwan Scandal"s OST," and "The song sung by the three members of TVXQ placed at #1. Getting into the top 20 is already a sign of popularity."

[Trans] 100916 TVXQ Trio’s Representative States “We Will Look Into This”
Regarding Xiah Junsu, YoungWoong Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun’s removal from Avex Entertainment, C-JeS Entertainment stated that they will have to look into this.
A representative of C-JeS was cautious as he stated that, “We first heard of this news through news articles,” and “We will have to look into this and talk with Avex.”
Avex stated on JYJ’s official homepage that, “Xiah Junsu, YoungWoong Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun’s Japanese activities will be halted for the time being.”
