According to the report from the Korea Tourism Board, the big-scale tourism promotion drama 'HARU: An Unforgettable Day in Korea' paid Dong Bang Shin Ki's UKnow YunHo and Big Bang 100 million won each, and 50 million won for actress Lee DaHae. As for Kim Bum, Han ChaeYoung and Park SiHoo, each received 40 million. The total cost for casting is 370 million won and the whole production is 5100 million won all in all.

 Q: In the recent web drama "Haru ~An Unforgettable Day In Korea~", you act as a stunt actor. The filming process seems very tough.A: Because I act as a stunt actor, there has been scenes of me being shot down by missiles shot from planes. Scenes of me flying and falling were acted out by me personally. There were many shots of me landing on the mats, and I received many injuries during the process.

Q: I heard that you challenged the intense heat too when you were filming in Busan.A: On the day of filming at the famous GwangAn Bridge in Busan, the weather was very very hot. Even so, I ran with all my might for around 20 takes. I ran around 15km. It's really tiring to run 15km in the sweltering heat, but it was worth it. Isn't the charismatic look on the drama worth anticipating? (laughs) That is the most memorable scene.

Q: You participated in the drama's production press conference before this interview, and said that you wanted to promote Korea's top tourist destination, Seoul Tower (also known as Namsan Tower) to the Japanese people. Is there anything interesting about that?A: Although I've been to Seoul Tower, but it was with four men. (laughs) I also bought a wishing lock, but because many fans noticed me, I could only leave the place quickly. If I could go with my girlfriend, I would really like to go again. 

Q: Right now you're in the middle of an Autumn musical that you star in, is it to broaden your activities?A: Recently I've wanted to try out various types of challenges, which has led me to find out about my different charms. It feels really good, as if I've matured. In terms of acting, by being able to experience a lifestyle that is unknown to me, it allows me to feel the charm of another's life. I receive this both from my drama and musical. To be able to unearth a new me and experience new hobbies is very fun.

Q: (From "haru*hana") What flowers do you like? Who do you want to send flowers to?A: I want to give a bouquet of lilies, mixed with roses to my parents. The white lilies and the roses represent my passion... full of gratitude that I inherited such energy and passion from them. Before, I've given my father presents, but not to my mother, so I especially want to give her a Mother's Day present.

Q: (From "haru*hana") What's the best day you've had recently?The "SMTOWN LIVE '10" summer concert. Meeting with fans on the stage after such a long time, it really left a deep impression on me.

[TRANS] 100913 U-Know Yunho of ‘Haru’ And His Mass Release Of Still Cuts

‘Haru’, the drama created for a Hallyu advertisement campaign, released still cuts of U-Know Yunho in action.

The filming occurred on August 17th at Shinhangman, Busan and the released photos show U-Know Yunho performing all the stunts himself as he plays an action star in the drama.

‘Haru’ is produced by Korea Tourist Service, Inc. and Cheil Communications and is an interactive omnibus drama starring Hallyu stars such as U-Know Yunho, Han Chae Young, Big Bang, Kim Bum, Lee Da Hae and Park Shi hoo. The drama was filmed all across the nation such as Busan, Gokseong, Yangpyung, the Han River and on board the Haerang train in order to shed light onto the hidden beauties of Korea.

The teaser video for ‘Haru’ was released on the official website (http://www.haru2010.com ) on the 11th and was praised for its charming cast and sensual blend of audio and video.

The complete version of ‘Haru’ will be released on the 24th.

[TRANS] 100826 Yunho's New Web Drama "[haru]~ Aru Ichinichi no Monogatari"

In late September, on 2010 Korean Tourism Interactive Campaign Site, a web drama called "[haru]~ Aru Hi no Monogatari" will be broadcast. The drama, which starred 10 Hallyu stars, will convey the current image of Korea via different characters such as script writer and action star, etc. Beside from depicting the beautiful landscapes, the drama will portray a priceless "one day" that each of the characters encounter by chance.
※ [haru] in Korean means "one day"

Synopsis
The main story involves around a script writer named Da Hae. During a span of one day, different things will be developing - the triangle love between Lee Da Hae, Yunho and Kim Bum; the comical episode between main characters in the drama that Da Hae works on Lee Chae Young and Park Si Hoo; and the story of BIG BANG who go all the way to a school in the mountain in order to protect a promise they made with fans.
