[NEWS + VIDEO] 110511 SNSD, TVXQ, CNBLUE & 4minute perform at KBS’s “INPUT 2011 Seoul”
On May 11th, stars performed at the congratulatory music concert for KBS’s “INPUT 2011 Seoul“.
The conference is a four-day long event that brings together representatives from around the world for discussions ranging from public television and the 21st century, to 3D-TV and the future of broadcast television.
The concert was broadcasted live on the same day, and boasted a line-up of Insooni, TVXQ, SNSD, 4minute, CNBLUE, Kim Tae Woo, Lim Tae Kyung, Song Sohee and many others.

[NEWS] JYJ makes their appearance on “KBS News Time”
On the morning of December 30th, the trio joined KBS’s “News Time“, and shared their gratitude on being able to make the appearance, as well as discussing their future goals.
Juggling their individual schedules and preparations for another world tour, the members were asked if they had time to celebrate Christmas. They answered, “We really just only drank!”
When questioned on issues due to an ongoing dispute, the members replied: “We’re not going to say that we’ll be able to solve the many problems that lie between a celebrity and its agency. We’re still trying to direct everything towards a positive path, and although we’re not sure what the outcome will be, we’d like for all celebrities to be able to work in a good environment and system.”

[News] JYJ to greet the new year on KBS’s “Live News Time”
JYJ will be appearing on KBS’s “Live News Time” on December 30th.
Prain representatives spoke with Star News and revealed on the 28th, “The trio of JYJ will be appearing on KBS’s news program for the 30th at 8 AM in order to talk about their U.S. activities and show their determination for the new year.”
Continued news of the trio’s broadcast appearances have been delighting fans, especially with their upcoming Korean album release, which contains songs written entirely by them.
A world tour is currently in discussion for their international promotions.

[NEWS] KBS confirms JYJ’s performance for the ‘2010 Drama Awards’
Last week, JYJ’s first broadcast appearance in Korea via KBS’s “2010 Drama Awards” was reported to be under discussion.
Recently, a representative from KBS’s drama team confirmed on December 14th that JYJ will be performing “Found You” – a track from the “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” OST – for December 31st.
Representatives of JYJ and KBS were said to have argued over the number of songs to be performed in the beginning, but both sides ended up agreeing to KBS’s initial request for a one-song congratulatory performance.
JYJ met with various obstacles in October after the release of their debut album, “The Beginning“, due to legal issues with SM Entertainment. Yet KBS came forward and requested their appearance, reasoning that Yoochun was one of the leading stars for its drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal”, and that JYJ sang the OST for it.
This performance may allow future opportunities for the boys to perform in additional public venues.

[TRANS] 101208 If JYJ Do Appear On ‘KBS Drama Acting Awards’?… “They Can’t Sing Two Songs”
Lee Kang Hyun, the KBS Drama EP, met with our reporter at a restaurant in Seoul on the 7th and stated, “It is true that JYJ have been written down for consideration as singers invited to perform at the 2010 KBS Drama Acting Awards,” but kept cautious as he said, “However, it has not been confirmed or finalized yet.”
Following this, he explained that, “If JYJ do appear on stage, they will sing one song just like all the other singers,” and “JYJ’s side asked if JYJ could sing two songs, the ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ O.S.T ‘Found You’ and another group piece, but they cannot sing more than one song as we must keep it fair for all singers.”

It has been found that the appearance of group JYJ, comprised of Park Yoochun, Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu, in the 2010 KBS Drama Acting Awards is virtually set.
A high-position representative in the KBS drama sector basically set off the countdown to JYJ’s first TV appearance when he said, “Though it has not been confirmed 100% that JYJ will perform a celebratory number at the awards ceremony, we are currently deciding upon the number of songs JYJ will sing with their side.”
This representative continued to explain that, “We pushed forward with this celebratory performance by JYJ as Yoochun left quite an impression on everyone with his acting in the KBS2 drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ and as the drama’s theme song ‘Found You’, sung by JYJ, had a positive reception from viewers.”
It has been said that the two sides are deciding whether JYJ should be allowed to sing one song or two or more songs.
If JYJ are able to stand on stage at the KBS Drama Acting Awards, this will be their first domestic TV appearance since the formation of their group.
Though the trio, from the group TVXQ, released their first album ‘The Beginning’ in October, they have not been able to actively perform due to their problems with SM Entertainment.
JYJ’s troubles escalated when the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Art Industry sent an official document to broadcasting and cable companies, as well as online and offline album distribution companies, urging them to restrict JYJ’s activities. This was the reason why JYJ’s celebratory performance at the Blue Dragon Film Awards on the 26th fell through at the last minute.
Fans are highly anticipating this appearance at the KBS Drama Acting Awards as this may be the catalyst that allows JYJ to appear on TV broadcasting companies’ shows in Korea.
On the other hand, JYJ are currently on a break after their ‘Worldwide Concert in Seoul’ that was held at the Jamshi Olympic Stadium on the 27th and 28th.

Korean boy band JYJ, composed of former TVXQ members Jaejung, Yuchun and Junsu, will likely take the stage at the 2010 KBS Drama Awards, making it the first time they will perform on television since debuting as a trio.
"It's not 100% confirmed as of yet but we in currently in talks with JYJ for a congratulatory performance during the 2010 KBS Drama Awards," a high-ranking official from KBS said. "It would be great if they performed the song 'Calling You' from the drama 'SungKyunKwan Scandal' since Yuchun gave such a memorable performance in the drama."
He went onto explain that they are fine-tuning on several details including how many songs JYJ will sing at the awards ceremony.
Jaejung, Yuchun and Junsu made their debut in 2004 as part of the popular boy band TVXQ, but despite their phenomenal success in Asia, they ceased their activities as a group after being involved in a legal dispute with the Korean agency SM Entertainment.
They made a comeback to the music scene in October as a trio under the name JYJ and released their worldwide studio album "The Beginning" on October 14, kicking off their global showcase to promote their album and themselves in Seoul and the United States.
JYJ recently held two series of show titled the "JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul" at the Main Olympic Stadium in Jamsil last month.
For two months from late August, Yuchun had starred in KBS' 20-episode series "SungKyunKwan Scandal" alongside cast members Park Min-young, Song Joong-ki and Yoo A-in. The show fared moderately well, posting ratings in the mid-ten percent range toward the end of its run.

[NEWS] JYJ’s performance for KBS ‘Drama Awards’ is not yet confirmed
In contrast to earlier reports, new information has stated that JYJ’s scheduled performance in this year’s KBS ‘Drama Awards‘ has not yet been confirmed.
“It is true that we are sharing discussions in a positive manner, however, at the moment, the final decision for their performance has not been confirmed. We have not yet received a final word from KBS,” explained a JYJ representative.
An associate of the KBS ‘Drama Awards’ also came forth to state, “It is true that we are negotiating their performance for Park Yoochun’s ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’. However, it is currently not a confirmed situation.”
