Members of TVXQ, Kim Junsu, Park Yoochun, and Kim Jaejoong held their "JYJ SHOWCASE TOUR 2010 'The Beginning' Taiwan" showcase last night at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall, attracting the support of 5000 Cassiopeian's (the name of TVXQ's fans) to the scene.
With 6 songs and a total of 70 minutes, JYJ raked in 15 million TWD. Just the stage and equipment cost up to a million, bringing an original Korean concert-scale to Taiwan. With an ocean of red glowsticks, JYJ kicked off the showcase with "Empty" and "Be My Girl", bringing a charismatic performance from the beginning. When JYJ started to use Chinese to greet the fans, Junsu cheekily asked the fans "Is your father and mother well?", earning a great response from the fans.
JYJ were surprised with the knowledge that the tickets for the showcase were sold out in an instant, so when asked if they were planning to hold a concert in Taiwan, the three nodded their heads in agreement. After JYJ sang the main theme song "Chajatta" for 'SungKyunKwan Scandal' with Park Yoochun acting as the main role, he answered with regards to the filming, "when I was filming, Jaejoong brought over 60 fried chickens to the set, and Junsu brought 100, which gives me a lot of energy."
When it was time for them to expose each other's secrets, Kim Junsu said, "I have 4 cats, but none of them are as cute as Jaejoong's cat Jiji. But Jiji likes me better, so he should give it to me instead!" Jaejoong showed off his scratch from which he received from Jiji saying, "Jiji's too fat, so when I put him on the treadmill to run, he bit me."
Jaejoong then said, "ever since our debut, I frequently go out with Yoochun to drink. But I'm the one who pays 8 out of the 10 times. Every time Yoochun arrives early, he's already drunk when I get there." Yoochun then said, "Later on there was this one time when it was better, Jaejoong stubbornly wanted me to pay, so I payed off all the alcohol money in one go."
Before they left Taiwan, JYJ wrote in their twitters, "today we are going to Taiwan, it's been so long." Upon their arrival at 11:05AM, they attracted over 800 fans holding JYJ balloons and even wearing massive bows in their hair, which was very eye-catching. JYJ will leave Taiwan today at 5:10PM on flight CX420.
