[FANACC] 101024 TOHOSHINKI EXPO 2010

Yesterday, October 23, I went to the TOHOSHINKI EXPO 2010, which was held at Tokyo International Forum, Yurakucho, Tokyo.

The food stalls outside. Long queue.

Takoyaki(from a-nation 2008)

Love in the Ice (from a-nation 2009)

The very long queue to enter the venue.
Outside the building.

Inside
I had a ticket for 12:30-15:00. I started to stand around 12:00, and it was pass 13:00 when I at last could enter the exhibition hall.

As always, we could not take pictures inside the hall, very strict rules.
So, I will try to explain in words.

The whole space was divided into 5 rooms, one room each for each of the albums (for the concert tours), and one for the souveniours.

There were costumes displayed in each room.
1st tour (Heart, Mind and Soul): White light coat with black buttons
2nd tour (Five in the Black): Black coat with two rows of golden buttons, red piping
3rd tour (T): Golden shirt & and black trousers
4th tour (Secret Code): Navy blue suit with golden piping

Many panels were on the walls, mainly the pictures of the offshots and backstage. For some pictures, I saw then for the first time.
It was totally the "TOHOSHINKI MUSEUM".

Once in 15-20 minutes, their performances of the concerts were shown on the many big screens numerously placed throughout the venue.
When I was at the venue, four songs were played.

*Stand By U
*Mirotic
*”O” Sei.han.gou
*Love in the Ice

Most of the fans stopped looking at the pictures and focused on the screens, though all of us have seen the scenes many times, and also have the DVDs at home.

The last room was for souvenirs, there was also a very long queue.

These are the souvenirs everyone received for the event.

The ballpoint pen was black ink.

Scans of the brochures.

Since the event was rather expensive (3000yen = approx USD37), I was amazed at the number of fans who came to the event. Tohoshinki has not been active in Japan (in the true meaning) for more than a year. Also, since unhappy incidents occurred, we are not sure if there is a chance that we can see the boys (even in individuals) in Japan in the future. But, I felt very encouraged, there are thousands of fans waiting for them to resume their activities. Oh, praying for the day when we can the good news.
